Republic gold Escudo 1838 So-IJ AU58 NGC, Santiago mint, KM99. The "Hand on Constitution" design is only a one-year type for the Escudo denomination and it is rarely encountered in such a premium grade. Only one example of this type has received a higher evaluation from NGC.
