ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 16.72 g, 11h). New Style coinage. Damon, Sosikrates, and Kleidamo–, magistrates. Struck 108/7 BC. Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates' names in fields, quiver over bow in right field, I on amphora, AΠ below; all within wreath. Thompson 727g (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602. Toned, some marks, struck with worn obverse die. VF.
