IONIA, Ephesos. Circa 180-67 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 12.43 g, 1h). Cistophoric standard. Dated CY 66 (69/8 BC). Cista mystica within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; above, palm frond between crossed cornucopias; to left, Ξς (date) above ethnic; long torch to right. Kleiner, Dated 70; DCA 325. Lightly toned, struck with worn obverse die. VF.
