EDOM (IDUMAEA). 4th century BC. Fourrée Quarter Shekel – Drachm (12mm, 4.16 g). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right, degraded to blank dome-like surface / Owl standing right, head facing; olive spray and crescent to left. For prototype: cf. GTvA 12–20; cf. HGC 10, 617. Toned, numerous breaks in plating, exposing bronze core. VF.
