JUDAEA, Neapolis. Elagabalus. 218-222 CE. Æ (21.5mm, 6.84 g, 6h). Laureate and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Mt. Gerizim with stairway leading to temple and altar at summit; colonnaded portico at foot of mountain. Cf. RPC VI Online 8909; cf. SNG ANS 1004; Rosenberger –; cf. Sofaer 98. (All references for larger denomination - unpublished in this size). Brown surfaces with earthen deposits, minor porosity. Good Fine. Very rare, unpublished denomination.
