Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. AR Denarius (17.5mm, 3.22 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 146-161. Draped bust right, wearing pearls bound on top of her head / Ceres (or Aeternitas) standing left, holding torch and raising fold of skirt. RIC III 362 (Pius); RSC 104. Attractive iridescent toning, minor deposits on obverse. Near EF. Well struck.
