Severus Alexander. AD 222-235. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.06 g, 6h). Rome mint. 5th emission, AD 225. Laureate and draped bust right / Mars advancing right, holding transverse spear and trophy over shoulder. RIC IV 45; BMCRE 246; RSC 250. Lightly toned, a few light scratches and hairlines, a couple tiny deposits. Near EF.
