LOKRIS, Lokri Opuntii. Circa 360-350 BC. AR Stater (24mm, 12.14 g, 12h). Wreathed head of Persephone left / Ajax, nude but for crested Corinthian helmet, holding sword and shield decorated with coiled serpent, advancing right on rocks; Boeotian helmet and broken spear below. H&D Group 20, 142 (O13A/R3); BCD Lokris 458.1 (same dies); HGC 4, 990. Lightly toned, rotated double strike, a few minor flan flaws on obverse. Good VF.
