Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws knotted at neck / Horse's head left; club before, angled back, palm tree behind, Punic MHMHNT' ('People of the Camp') below. HGC 2, 284. Cf. Jenkins, Punic 319b (O103/R262). SNG Lloyd 1650. A simply gorgeous example of this handsome type, deeply struck on a broad flan from fresh dies of the finest style. NGC Choice MS★ 5/5 - 5/5. This wonderful tetradrachm is the finest we have ever seen of this type, a sentiment confirmed by NGC, which has conferred one of the highest conceivable grades for a Greek tetradrachm.
