LOCRIS. Locris Opuntii. Ca. 370-350 BC. AR stater (24mm, 12.14 gm, 11h). Head of Demeter left, hair wreath in grain ears, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace / ΟΠΟΝ-[ΤΙ]ΩΝ, Ajax the Lesser advancing right in fighting stance, nude but for helmet, holding shield and sword, inside of shield decorated with coiled serpent, laurel twig between legs. SNG Fitzwilliam 2801 (this rev. die). Delbridge, Corpus group 5, 64e. Reverse a tad off-center, obverse hair detail strengthened at obverse high points, otherwise Nearly Extremely Fine.
