SARONIC ISLANDS. Aegina. Ca. 510-490 BC. AR stater (17 X 20mm, 12.32 gm). Sea turtle with thick linear collar and row of pellets down back / Incuse square of "Union Jack" pattern with four incuse and three raised segments. SNG Copenhagen 502. SNG Delepierre 1512. Well centered on a lozenge-shaped flan, struck in sound metal and nicely toned. Weakly struck at top of shell, otherwise Extremely Fine.
