AEOLIS. Cyme. Ca. 155-145 BC. AR tetradrachm (31mm, 16.88 gm, 12h). Amphyktion, magistrate. Head of the Amazon Cyme right, her hair bound with a taenia / KYMAIΩN, horse standing to right, its left foreleg raised, a one-handled cup below; AMΦIKTIOΣ in exergue; all within laurel wreath. Oakley, ANSMN 27, 14/79. Rare late issue! Light golden cast. Struck in high relief, obverse die a tad worn, otherwise Extremely Fine. From The Andre Constantine Dimitriadis Collection.
