CONSTANTINVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine II right, right shoulder raised, seen from front / VICTORIA AVG, Victory walking left, holding trophy in right hand, palm in left; star in left field, LXXII in right, SM AN • in exergue. RIC VIII 3 (R3). Depeyrot 2/1. Very rare! A few surface marks. NGC (photo-certificate) AU★ 5/5 - 4/5.From The Andre Constantine Dimitriadis Collection. Ex Dreesmann Collection (Spink London, 13 April 2000), lot 157; Spink/Leu (26 September 1987), lot 339. The LXXII in the right field  is a mark of value, indicating that gold solidi are struck at 72 to the pound, one of the few times an explicit statement of value can be found on Roman gold coinage.
