D N ANTHE-MIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, head slightly right, holding spear over right shoulder / SALVS RE-I PV-BLICAE, the emperors Anthemius and Leo standing facing in military dress, holding between them globus cruciger, RM monogram above ● below, COMOB in exergue. RIC X 2831 (R2). Lacam 41-47. DOC 925. Very rare. An exceptional specimen, deeply struck from fresh dies, with a detailed reverse. NGC (photo-certificate) Choice AU 5/5 - 4/5.
