IMP NERO CAESAR AVG PONTIF MAX TRIB POT P P, laureate head of Nero right, with globe at point of bust / ANNONA AVGVSTI CERES, Ceres, on right, seated left, holding corn ears and torch, facing Annona standing right and holding cornucopia; between them, modius on garlanded altar; in background, ship's stern; SC in exergue. RIC 496 (S). WCN 431. Well struck on an an immense, round flan and possessing a wonderful deep green patina, with some earthen encrustation in fields.
