Constantinople. +IhS XPS RЄX – RЄGNANTIYM ✴, nimbate figure of Christ enthroned facing, raising right hand in benediction and holding book of Gospels in left / ROMAh ЄT XRISTOFORY AYGG b', facing crowned busts of Romanus on left, and Christopher on right, wearing loros and chlamys respectively and holding long patriarchal cross between them. DO 7. Sear 1745. Well centered and cleanly struck. NGC AU 5/5 - 3/5, clipped.
