Tierra del Fuego. Popper gold Token Gramo 1889, Buenos Aires mint, KM-Tn5, MS63 NGC. Choice Uncirculated and very scarce in this grade, as many of the surviving specimens have been damaged. A charming private issue struck by Julius Popper, very popular and collected as an emergency issue since its inclusion in J. Medina's classic 1919 reference work Las Monedas Obsidionales Hispanoamericanas.
