George V "Near 6" Specimen 5 Cent 1926, Ottawa mint, KM29, SP66 PCGS. Type with 6 in date close to maple leaf. A wonderful example, untoned and essentially as-struck, with sparkling surfaces that come alive beneath a light. Rarely encountered in this format, and very possibly the Norweb specimen that was grade SP66, with only around 10 known in all grades. The present example, tied with one other piece as the finest certified, is certain to be considered a prize by the collector of George V.From The Prager Collection of Canadian Specimen Coins
