Republic Peso 1817 So-FJ, Santiago mint, KM82.2, MS60 NGC. Uncirculated with attractive steel toning and essentially original surfaces. Despite some minute rim nicks on the pillar side between "Y" and "FUERZA", this remains an appealing type coin for this very popular series. Despite being by far the most available, the 1817 date is important as the first date of this series and remains very elusive in higher grades.
