Royalist Cartagena cob 2 Reales 880/1813, Cartagena mint, KM-Unlisted, Restrepo-118, Choice XF, 4.15 grams. A second specimen of this issue, showing less details of the undercoin but struck on a heavier planchet. Part of the details are effaced due to this planchet being slightly uneven, but this example is probably close to "as struck". The dates seen in this series "800", "808" and "880" (such as the one in the present example), are in fact different die states of dies dated "888" die. On this coin, the upper part on the last "8" digit is barely visible.
