Charles VI (1380-1422) gold Écu d'or à la couronne ND, Saint-Quentin mint, 3rd emission, from 11 September 1389, Fr-291, Dup-369B, MS63 NGC. + KAROLVS : DЄI : GRACIA : FRAnCORVM : RЄX, crowned arms of France, a pellet beneath the 17th letter / + XPC * VIHCIT * XPC * RЄGHAT * XPC * IHPЄRAT, cross fleurée, a star in the center; all within a quadrilobe with lis at points and crowns in spandrels. A lustrous example from a scarcer mint. Some striking weakness exists on the upper-right quadrant of the obverse arms and the corresponding area of the reverse.
