Teutonic Order. Maximilian 2 Taler 1614, Hall mint, KM30, Dav-5854, AU58 NGC. Beautifully toned in cabinet gray with underlying shades of purple and gold, this superbly detailed Double Taler has seen little circulation. Minuscule annealing flaws, a reverse die cud, and one tiny obverse scratch are the only noted faults and are mercifully few for an early-17th Century silver coin of this size and manufacture.
