Charles II Halfpenny 1673, S-3393, MS63 Brown PCGS. A beautiful and choice copper struck from clashed dies, a portion of the king's head and corresponding area on reverse struck through grease (thus the design is indistinct) and the dies were a bit aged, but the overall clarity of the motifs and the gorgeous chocolate-brown surfaces, showing hints of red luster, elevate this Halfpenny to a level seldom seen in this series. Rare so fine!
