Great Britain
George III Shilling 1763, ESC-1214, S-3742. AU58 NGC. One-year type issued during the early reign of George III known as the "Northumberland" Shilling. This is the only date of this issue featuring the young, laureate bust of George III. In fact, the next dated Shilling wasn't minted until 1787. A wonderfully bold piece with incredibly attractive patina and beautiful, somewhat muted luster, rarely seen this nice.
