Victoria aluminum Proof Pattern Penny 1860, KM-PPN67, Peck 2146, PR63 NGC. By Adolph Weyl, Young Head. A stunningly bright-white example with the young head of Victoria. The reverse design is particularly illustrative with scallops, thistles, roses and of particular interest at the bottom of the cross, an elephant, seal, and kangaroo. Perhaps, as Peck suggests, these patterns were intended for use in the homeland and the various dominions. A lovely and rare pattern.
