Victoria Proof Penny 1880, KM755, S-3954, Freeman 100 (R19), PR67 Red and Brown PCGS. The most dramatically appealing Proof Victorian cent this cataloger has ever seen, and unquestionably among the finest Victorian pennies of any date extant. A deeply mirrored proof, the surfaces are bathed in vibrant hues with magenta-violet and navy-blue color traversing both sides and underlying original copper only serving to add further contrast. No flaws of any kind are apparent and while the grade technically suggests otherwise, we don't hesitate to label this piece "fully pristine". A wonderfully sublime masterpiece! Krause catalog price(s) for this item: $22 in VF, $110 in EF, $425 in UNC.
