ΛZDRDΛZDZVIO DVX | SN VЄNЄTI, St. Mark standing right presenting banner to kneeling Doge left / STTI T XPЄ DΛQVR | RRTNIN ITЄ DVCAT, Christ standing facing, holding gospels and raising hand in benediction, surrounded by mandorla and stars. Bright and superbly struck upon a larger flan than is generally seen. There is no ghosting evident and though die polishing lines are present on the obverse, which is typical, they detract little from the overall appeal.
