Phase III (c.1035-60) Penny ND, Uncertain mint, 11.4 grs., S-6132, DF-24, MS66 PCGS. + IIITIIFFDIPIE, draped bust left, pellet behind neck / + И | IИI | + И | IИI, long voided cross with triple crescent ends, a hand symbol and pellet in the first and fourth quarters. A spectacular example of this issue featuring an outstanding strike, perfectly centered, and phenomenal cabinet patina. The surfaces are without any marks of note and the gray tone is highlighted by vivid iridescent blues and greens. This specimen is certainly among the finest extant survivors of this issue.
