Phase III (c.1035-60) Penny ND, Uncertain mint, 14.3 grs., S-6133, DF-24, MS63 PCGS. + IIITIIRIIDIDIEIII, draped bust left, a cross of pellets on the neck / + III | PIPI | FFN | IDII, long voided cross with triple crescent ends, a pellet in the first and fourth quarters, a hand symbol in the second, and a retrograde S in the third. An attractive example of this stylized issue. The surfaces are toned in a lovely olive-gold. The only issues of note are slight weakness in the reverse legend corresponding with a minor planchet delamination.
