Piacenza. Ranuccio I Farnese gold Quadrupla (2 Doppie) 1618-PP, KM-MB35, Fr-907, MIR-1152/17, VF Details (Hairlined). A scarce issue on a flan with two converging cracks running nearly the diameter of the planchet. Although the P's are not visible due to flan and strike irregularities, the date is quite clear and we know that this is the variety with the P's on either side of the date as there are no marks beneath the exergue bearing the wolf.
