Vittorio Emanuele III gold 20 Lire 1903-R, Rome mint, KM37.1, Fr-24, AU58 PCGS. Strong, with delightfully prooflike surfaces and very pleasing orange-gold patination. There is some evidence of minor handling with two darkened obverse spots and faint hairlines within the fields. A nice example of this scarce date with a mintage of only 1,800 pieces.
