Philip V Real 1741 Mo-MF, Mexico City mint, KM75.1, MS63 PCGS. A Choice Uncirculated specimen of this popular pillar type, well struck and with much mint brilliance. A rare and desirable high grade of preservation for this issue. This is the last year of the sub-type struck beginning in 1732, which has the full name on the King on the shield side as PHILIP (coins struck from 1742 onwards had the PHS abbreviated legend).
