Gorinchem. Imitative gold Rose Noble ND (c.1583-91), Fr-80, Purmer-Go14, AU55 NGC. A superb example from the later period of this imitative issue of Edward IV of England. It is struck on a broad planchet with the entire module on-flan and very little striking weakness to be found. Ample luster remains and, despite a tiny obverse flan flaw, a lack of distracting marks and abrasions renders this specimen superior to many of its peers.
