British Mandate 20 Mils 1934, KM5, MS64 PCGS. Instantly recognizable as a key date to dedicated collector with examples, when offered, rarely breaching the Uncirculated grade, and those that do usually being limited to Select and lesser grades. The present piece however, like many examples for this incredible set, is the anomaly! The surfaces showcase especially effulgent luster throughout and soft unimposing pastel tone in variegated gold, rose and lilac hues traverses the fields. A couple tiny ticks on the reverse are surely all that prevented the full Gem classification.
