Alfonso XIII Peso 1895 PG-V, Madrid mint, KM24, MS63 NGC. Choice Uncirculated and well struck, with much mint luster, and incipient toning on the reverse peripheral areas. A most attractive example of this popular type, very rare in this grade. The "B. M." initials below the King's bust are those of engraver Bartolome Maura y Montaner. In addition, this series bear the initials of the two assayers (Felix Miguel) P(eiro), (Antonio) G(arcia) and of the Fiel de Balanza (Remigio) V(ega).
