Peter I (the Great) silver Altyn (3 Kopecks) 1718, PCGS has listed this as "Inverted L" on the holder, but this is the variety with the mintmaster initial missing, type of Bitkin-type of Diakov-649/677, KM154.1, MS62 PCGS. Lustrous, with light golden patina. The strike is crude, as normal for the type, with minor flan flaws. An exceptional example of this very elusive type. Ex: Falz-Fein Collection with original tag showing this piece as Lot # 66.
