Peter I Rouble (1720), Bitkin 428 (R1) (incorrectly described here, it is actually a crown between clover leafs above the head), Diakov-82 (R2), KM157.5, XF45 NGC. Obv. Laureate bust right. Rev. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date and value. Sharply struck, with slate-gray toning over lustrous surfaces and only minor imperfections. A pleasing, attractive, example of this very scarce issue. Ex: Sotheby's Fuch's Auction, April 25, 1998, Lot 88.
