Anna Polupoltinnik (1/4 Rouble) 1740, Red mint, Bitkin-223 (R2), Diakov-1, KM202, Petrov (20 Rub), VF30 NGC. Obv. Crowned portrait of Anna right. Rev. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date and value. A nice VF example, with even details and no egregious flaws. An exceedingly rare issue. Both the dates, 1739 and 1740, were struck for this type, but the 1739 is the date that almost always appears. Only this single example of the 1740 date has been certified by NGC.
