Elizabeth copper Pattern Novodel Kopeck 1755 CПБ, St Petersburg mint, lettered edge, Bitkin-H585 (R2), Brekke-47, Diakov-N371 (R2), MS64 Brown NGC. Obv. Crowned portrait of Elizabeth right. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle in cartouche with date above. A superb example of this extremely rare pattern issue. The strike is near-flawless and the surfaces gleam with a lustrous iridescence. Noticeable goldenmint luster remains in the obverse legend and on the reverse, around the devices. No significant contact marks are noted and the only mentionable imperfections are a few specks of dark residue on the obverse. The first we have seen and the only example of this issue certified by NGC.
