Paul I Poltina (1/2 Rouble) 1798/7 CM-MБ, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-48, Severin-2425, KM-C99.1a, AU58 NGC. Obv. Cruciform crowned Imperial monogram with the date. Rev. Four-line legend in garnished tablet. The overdate is unlisted in Bitkin, but the 7 is very clear beneath the 8 of the date. Well struck, with moderate gray, and russet, toning over lustrous surfaces. Very scarce in this condition.
