Nicholas Rouble 1913 BC, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-68 (R1), KM-Y59.3, MS64 NGC. Obv. Bust of Nicholas II left. Rev. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date and value. Bold definition, with light golden toning over brilliant, lustrous surface, with only a few minuscule imperfections. A very low mintage issue, with only 22,000 pieces struck between the two 1913 regular issues, 1913 BC, and 1913 ЭБ. The numbers of pieces that appear shows the 1913 BC to be the rarer of these two issues. This date is conditionally extremely rare, with only two examples certified in MS64 by NGC, and none certified finer.
