This moderately worn and wholesome looking example displays a pleasing rich gray tone in exposed fields and high points while the protected areas offer a richer slate patina. Close inspection reveals evidence of a past cleaning and what appears to be a few stray hit marks behind the bust, long since toned over. Despite its shortcomings a presentable example of the type with a good look.
