This decently preserved and attractive example exhibits a strong strike with relatively smooth surfaces and lovely rich cabinet patina complemented by hints of iridescence. Close inspection reveals evidence of a past cleaning on the reverse, now subdued and pleasing. Despite its shortcomings, a wholesome example of this RARE date issue.
