KM-377.8; DP-Go10. Die style of 1829-1830, with a tall cap and oblong beading around the borders on the obverse. Original and somewhat appealing at first glance, it is only after careful examination at a rakish angle that signs of hairline friction in the fields become apparent. A boldly struck piece with excellent detail, very little wear, and a presentable dove gray overtone.
