HGC-1, 889; Vlasto-859-62; HN Italy-1031. Reduced standard. Obverse: Nude youth riding horse right, holding reins and crowning horse; monogram to left; below horse, facing mask of Silenos; below raised foreleg; Reverse: Phalanthos, holding kantharos, riding dolphin left. A beautiful Didrachm with crisp detail and bright, lustrous surfaces. The reverse was struck slightly off-center, but the coin remains highly enticing due to its impressive originality.
