Obverse: Nude youth riding horse right, holding reins and crowning horse; monogram to left; below horse, facing mask of Silenos; below raised foreleg, uncertain magistrate name; Reverse: Phalanthos, holding kantharos, riding dolphin left. While obverse weakness conceals some detail, the reverse is quite sharp and lustrous. Faint graffiti on the lower field is mentioned for completeness, but is hardly noticeable. A pleasing example with lightly toned surfaces.
