HGC-10, 3; Pr-3286 (Ake). Struck under Ptolemy I as Satrap. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, Phoenician 'K (for 'Ozmilk) and |||-= (33 [date] in Phoenician). A well-centered Tetradrachm with deep charcoal toning. Hints of iridescent luster linger in the reverse fields. A strong example of this dated type.
