HGC-3.1, 973F; Pr-P181. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; M in left field; below throne, ΛY above strut. A circulated but highly attractive example, featuring a fine portrait of Herakles in high relief. The reverse features a large graffito on the upper fields, but the details and control marks remain clear. Light toning with a tinge of dusty amber help elevate the coin's eye appeal.
