HGC-4, 1597; Kroll-8. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. This Tetradrachm displays numerous edge cuts of varying sizes, which likely account for the slightly lower weight. Nonetheless, it is an appealing example due its bold well-centered strike and attractive toning. Some luster hides in the fields and lends the coin a look of charming originality.
