Sunrise-16; Berk-22; SNG Ashmolean-762-71. Obverse: Confronted foreparts of lion and bull; Reverse: Two incuse squares of unequal size. A charming example of this very early Achaemenid issue. An unobtrusive countermark or banker's mark can be seen on the lion's shoulder. Aside from some minor crystallization, which is common for the type, the surfaces are well preserved and toned.
